Ulrike Susanne Wahl

Head of Regional Office Siemens Stiftung Latin America

Ulrike is a global communications executive with a strong focus on Corporate Social Responsibility. She currently represents the international foundation “Siemens Stiftung” in Latin America, based in Santiago de Chile. From there, she oversees strategic outline, alliances and projects in 8 countries across the Region. She has been part of the foundation since its beginning, including serving as a Board member in its global headquarters.

Before diving deep into the non-profit scene, Ulrike was responsible for Siemens Corporate Communications, Corporate Affairs and Corporate Responsibility for South America (w/o Brasil), based in Bogotá and Buenos Aires. She gave impulse to thought leadership initiatives related to City and Sustainable development and was part of the set up of local corporate foundations in Latin America, and several culture change initiatives in Siemens.

Her prior positions at AHK Colombia,  consultancies for multinational companies and as part of the strategy and communications team of International Business School INALDE, Colombia, as well as her entrepreneurial initiatives related to European media productions in Latin America gave her deep cross insight on impact oriented cooperation opportunities and agenda setting.

Ulrike is German born, but with a strong bond of over 35 years in Latin America, mainly Colombia, Chile and Argentina. Her life is permanent interaction with contexts, topics, people within a cross-national oriented agenda. She holds a degree in Journalism and Communications (Universidad de la Sabana, Colombia), and an MBA (INALDE international business school, Colombia), speaks four languages, and participates in several cross-sector working groups in the Region.
